Haruka Kotato 

Haruka Kotato (Flute) was born into the family of a world known flute maker “Kotato & Fukushima” where she naturally picked up the flute at the age of 4. Haruka won many prizes during her studies at the Tokyo Music University, as well as international competitions in Kobe and Beijing. She has performed in many concerts as a soloist and played with many different chamber orchestra and orchestras and experienced teaching in Japan. She is also a member of a contemporary music ensemble group called “Nozzles” where she performs as a flautist and as a singer. Since 2009 she has studied at the Music College in Freiburg with Prof Felix Renggli where she expands her musical career in Europe.
